The Second Workshop on Multimodal User Authentication will be held on May 11-12, 2006, in Toulouse, France, just before ICASSP 2006. The first MMUA workshop was held in Santa Barbara in December 2003.

The workshop will focus on recent advances and new paradigms in multimodal biometrics with a strong emphasis on the multimodal aspect of user authentication. Technical papers related to the following areas are solicited:

Toulouse, capital of the "Midi-Pyrénées" region in the great South West of France, is the fourth largest French city. Well known for its significant role in aeronautics and space, Toulouse is also an important center for new information technology development. Along with the second largest French university campus and many research centers, Toulouse is also famous for its culture and historical heritage.

The workshop will be held at the Institut de Recherche en Informatique de Toulouse (IRIT). Housing will be available nearby.

Prospective authors are invited to electronically submit a photo-ready paper up to 8 pages in length. See the Info for Authors page for submission details. Demo proposals will also be accepted.

Attendance may be limited with priority given to those who submit written technical contributions or demonstration systems.
