A workshop
on Multimodal User Authentication
will be held on December
11-12, 2003, at the Radisson Hotel in beautiful Santa Barbara, California.
The
MMUA workshop
will focus on recent advances and new paradigms in Multimodal
User Authentication.
Technical papers
and demos are
solicited for presentation at the workshop, especially in the following areas:
Iris identification
Eye
and face analysis
Speaker
recognition/verification
Fingerprint
recognition
Audio/Image
indexing and retrieval
Joint
audio/video processing
Gesture analysis for biometrics
Signature
recognition
Multimodal fusion
and integration techniques
Applications
and implementations of multimodal user authentication systems
The Radisson Hotel, Santa Barbara,
is just across from the Pacific Ocean, East Beach, and the
Santa Barbara Pier. It is located at
the city's edge, where palm trees meet the ocean's waves. Santa Barbara is just
two hours away from the
Los Angeles International Airport, Beverly Hills and downtown Los Angeles.
Prospective authors are invited to submit a photo-ready paper electronically - see the Info for Authors page. Demo proposals will also be accepted.
Attendance may be limited with priority given
to those who submit written technical contributions or demonstration systems.
